چکیده

We study, by numerical simulations on a lattice, the behaviour of the gauge–invariant quark–antiquark nonlocal condensates in the QCD vacuum with dynamical fermions. A determination is also done in the quenched approximation and the results are compared with the full–QCD case. The fermionic correlation length is extracted and compared with the analogous gluonic quantity. (PACS code: 12.38.Gc) ∗Partially supported by MURST and by the EC TMR program ERBFMRX–CT97–0122.

Lattice measurements of nonlocal quark condensates, vacuum correlation length, and pion distribution amplitude in QCD

Recent data of lattice measurements of the gauge-invariant nonlocal scalar quark condensates are analyzed to extract the short–distance correlation length, 1/λq, and to construct an admissible Ansatz for the condensate behaviour in a coordinate space. The correlation length values for both the quenched and full-QCD cases appear in a good agreement with the well-known QCD SR estimates of the mix...

Path Dependence of the Quark Nonlocal Condensate within the Instanton Model

The nonlocal vacuum condensates or vacuum correlators describe the distribution of quarks and gluons in the nonperturbative QCD vacuum [1]. Physically, it means that vacuum quarks and gluons can flow through the vacuum with nonzero momentum. Nonlocal condensates play an important role in hadron physics. The nonlocal properties of the vacuum condensates are of principle importance in the study o...

The leading nonperturbative QCD corrections to the one gluon exchange quark-quark, quark-antiquark and q ¯ q pair-excitation potentials are derived by using a covariant form of nonlocal two-quark and two-gluon vacuum expectation values. Our numerical calculation indicates that the correction of quark and gluon condensates to the quark-antiquark potential improves the heavy quarkonium spectra to...

Gauge–invariant nonlocal quark condensates in QCD: a new interpretation of the lattice results

where S(0, x) is the Schwinger line needed to make Ci(x) gauge–invariant and Γ are the sixteen independent matrices of the Clifford’s algebra acting on the Dirac indices a, b. The trace in (1) is taken with respect to the colour indices. Making use of T,P invariance one can prove that all the correlators (1) vanish, except those with Γ = 1 (“scalar” nonlocal condensate) and with Γ = γ E and μ i...

Gauge–invariant nonlocal quark condensates in QCD

The QCD sum rules approach to non– perturbative phenomena in strong interaction physics consists in evaluating the power corrections of the product of two hadronic currents via the Operator Product Expansion (OPE), putting the relevant, unknown information about the non-perturbative vacuum structure in the values of local condensates (〈q̄(0)q(0)〉, 〈G(0)G(0)〉, etc.). However, it has been recogniz...
